Load Owners

All Transporters on LoadXchange go through a strict verification process, including identity checks, vehicle ownership confirmation, and goods-in-transit insurance. You'll only be matched with pre-verified Transporters.

When you award a job, the agreed payment goes into a secure holding account managed by a trusted third party. Funds are only released when agreed milestones are met — for example, after loading and after proof of delivery. This protects you while ensuring Transporters are paid fairly at each stage.

Once you post a load, multiple verified Transporters can submit bids in real time. You can compare their offers and select the one that balances price, reliability, and service quality.

Yes. Transporters receive daily WhatsApp prompts to confirm their location. Each confirmation updates the system, giving you visibility into your shipment's progress without the need for expensive tracking hardware.

Transporters

Before a job begins, the Load Owner deposits the agreed amount into a secure holding account managed by a trusted third party. The money stays there until each agreed milestone is reached — for example, after loading and after proof of delivery. Only then is it released to you, ensuring you're paid fairly and on time.

Load Owners post their shipment details on the platform. As a transporter, you'll be notified when new loads that match your profile are available. You can also search the platform yourself at any time to find jobs. Once you see a load you're interested in, you can submit your bid in real time. If your bid is accepted, the job is confirmed and the payment is already secured in the holding account.

Yes. By posting loads in real time and notifying you of opportunities along your routes, LoadXchange helps reduce empty return trips. This means better fleet utilization and improved earnings.

No. You'll receive a daily WhatsApp message to confirm your location. A quick response keeps the system updated and gives Load Owners visibility of their shipment without the need for expensive tracking equipment.

Load Owners and Transporters

LoadXchange is designed specifically for cross-border freight in the SADC region. Our platform connects verified Load Owners and Transporters for movements across borders, not for local or last-mile deliveries.

A small service fee applies on every completed job.

  • For Load Owners: When you see a bid, you'll also see the total price you'll pay after the service fee is added.
  • For Transporters: The service fee is deducted from your bid. When you place a bid, you'll see both the amount you bid and the amount you'll receive after the service fee is deducted.

This fee keeps payments secure, supports verification, and gives you access to trusted opportunities.

Any Load Owner (LO) and Transporter (TR) operating in SADC can register on LoadXchange. At launch, the platform will operate with Load Owners who can deposit funds into a South African escrow account, and Transporters who have South African bank accounts and vehicles registered in South Africa. We are expanding into other SADC countries soon, so registering now ensures you'll be among the first to be activated when LoadXchange goes live in your country.

After each completed job, both Load Owners and Transporters provide ratings and feedback on their experience. These mutual ratings build transparency and trust across the platform. In addition, every user will have a LoadXchange Trust Score — a merit and demerit system that rewards participants for professionalism, reliability, and positive conduct, while discouraging poor practices. This ensures that committed and trustworthy users are recognized and gain access to more opportunities.

LoadXchange is expected to officially launch in Q1 2026. At launch, the platform will first be available to Load Owners who can deposit funds into a South African escrow account, and to Transporters with South African bank accounts and vehicles registered in South Africa. Expansion into other SADC countries will follow soon after, so registering now ensures you'll be among the first to know when LoadXchange becomes available in your country.
